situated just outside of the provincial capital of Krabi Town. Road
transfers to Ao Nang, Nopparat Thara and Klong Muang take between 35 -
60 minutes from the airport. Transfers to Railay involve an additional
sea crossing (45 minutes from Krabi Town or 15 minutes from Ao Nang).
The sea crossing to Phi Phi Island is 60-90 minutes from Krabi Town or
Nopparat Thara.
High Season & Low Season
The rainy season in the Krabi region is approximately May-October and lower rates may apply for accommodation during this low season. Whilst the rainy season can still be an excellent time to visit Krabi, some boat services to the islands can be temporarily suspended because of high waves.
